Dew Tax
Tax Services For Entrepreneurs And The Entities They Run.
Tax is one of the largest expenses most entrepreneurs face, and one of the easiest to get wrong when nobody has the full picture. We handle tax preparation and planning for the entrepreneurs and families we work with, with a team that already understands your books.
Schedule A Discovery CallWhat We Handle
Personal and business tax returns, prepared together. Your individual return, your business entities, and any family-level structures are prepared by the same team, so nothing falls between them at filing time.
Proactive planning, not just compliance. We are looking at your tax picture throughout the year, not just at year-end. Entity structure, income timing, deductions, and estimated payments are all part of an ongoing conversation.
Estimated tax management. We track your income and adjust quarterly estimates so you are not surprised at filing time and are not overpaying throughout the year.
Coordination with your bookkeeping and advisory teams. Because we work with the same books your advisor sees, the conversation about tax strategy is connected to everything else, not isolated from it.
Tax, Handled By A Team That Knows Your Numbers
When your tax work is done by a team that already understands your bookkeeping and your broader financial picture, nothing falls through the cracks between bookkeeping, tax, and wealth planning. You’re not re-explaining your business to a preparer who is seeing your numbers for the first time. You’re working with people who already know them.
Why Coordination Beats A Disconnected Preparer
Many entrepreneurs keep their bookkeeper, their tax preparer, and their financial advisor in separate corners. The resulting distance can result in missed opportunities, last-minute scrambles, and decisions made without the full picture. Dew Tax brings tax and bookkeeping together, coordinated with your advisory relationship, so one team is working from one set of numbers.
What Good Tax Work Makes Possible
Compliance is the baseline. When tax is handled proactively, by a team that already knows your books, it becomes one of the most effective levers for keeping more of what you earn.
Plan around income, not just record it. Many tax strategies depend on decisions made during the year. When your preparer is also watching your books in real time, the window to act is open throughout the year, not just at filing time.
Use the right entity structure. S-corp elections, operating agreements, and holding company arrangements all have tax implications. A team connected to your advisory relationship can evaluate structure from every angle, not just the return.
Avoid the year-end scramble. When books are clean and current throughout the year, there is nothing to reconstruct at filing time. Your preparer starts from accurate numbers, not from a pile of bank statements.
Keep your advisor in the loop. Significant tax moves, income timing, deferred compensation, or asset sales affect your wealth picture too. A connected team means those conversations happen before the decision, not after it.
Reduce what you owe legitimately. Deductions you are entitled to only work if someone is tracking them consistently. The same structure that keeps your books accurate is what ensures nothing is missed when it is time to prepare your return.
Returns We Prepare
Most entrepreneurs operate across multiple entities. We prepare returns for the full picture, so every form flows from the same set of books and nothing is handed off to a preparer who has never seen the underlying numbers.

How We Work With Your Advisors
Our tax work is designed to stay connected to Dew Wealth Management’s advisory relationships, so your tax picture, your books, and your wealth strategy are never in separate conversations. Dew Tax Advisory, LLC is an affiliated company of Dew Wealth Management, an SEC-registered investment adviser. That coordination means your preparer, your bookkeeper, and your advisor are all working from the same set of numbers.
If you have outside advisors, we work alongside them. Our goal is that nothing falls through the gap between your tax return and the decisions that depend on it.
Common Questions
Do I need to be a Dew Bookkeeping client to use Dew Tax?
No. We work with clients on tax preparation and planning regardless of who handles their bookkeeping. That said, coordination is easier and more effective when both are in the same place, and we will always tell you what we see.
When do I need to start working with you for the current tax year?
Earlier is always better. Planning opportunities are time-sensitive, and some strategies only work if we are involved before year-end. We can work with you at any point, but the more runway we have, the more we can do.
What do you need from me to get started?
A Discovery Call is the starting point. We will talk through your situation, your entities, and what you are currently working with, and from there we can scope what the engagement looks like and what it will take to get your returns prepared correctly.
Do you handle IRS notices and correspondence?
Yes. We respond to IRS and state tax agency correspondence on behalf of our clients. If you receive a notice, we review it, explain what it means, and handle the response.
Can you work with my existing financial advisor?
Absolutely. We coordinate with outside advisors as needed and are not territorial about information. Our goal is that the right people have what they need to make good decisions.
How is pricing structured?
Tax engagements are priced based on the number and complexity of the returns we prepare, plus any planning work. We scope this during the Discovery Call so there are no surprises.
